Entry Tickets

Be a part of something special — the 113th Yavapai County Fair is right around the corner, and we need your help to make it our best year yet! There are a variety of volunteer opportunities available for all interests and availability, including:

• Office assistance before the fair
   
• Helping with entries in Arts & Crafts
   
• Assisting with Large and Small Animal check-ins
   
• Gate monitoring during fair hours
   
• Trash and grounds upkeep
   
• Ticket sales and gate scanning
   
• Supporting the Youth Livestock Auction
   

Your time is valuable — every hour you volunteer helps reduce the fair’s costs. For every hour we don’t have to hire paid help (which costs a minimum of $15/hour), those funds can instead be used for more entertainment, more prizes, and more fun for the community.

Answer Phones, Do Small Office Projects, Great Walk-In Customers, and Sell Tickets as Needed - (Young Adult & Adults - General Customer Service Skills Needed)

Assist with accepting Entries, Sorting, Hanging, Placing Ribbons Prior to Fair, For Check Out assist in checking entries out. - (Older Teen - Adult Perfered) 

This will be Handing out information, directing exhibitors, assisting at the scales. For checkout assisting in checking animals out - (Older Teen - Adult Perfered)

Help Monitor a Gate Opening During Fair! We have serveral areas of the fair we need to have watched to make sure no one goes into an area not open to the public. (Older Teen - Adult Perfered)

This is helping to pull trash bags out of the cans and place in a trailer, washing tables in the food court. (Young Adult - Adult)

Scanning tickets - We have a machine that you will scan the ticket prior to allowing a person to enter the fair. (Adult - Older Teen Perfered (Standing on Feet is Required))

Selling Tickets -  This is selling tickets in the ticket machines we provide, making change, and printing tickets (Adult - Older Teen (Need to be able to make Change))

We need people to help at the auction handing out buyer gifts, registering buyers, checking buyers out, taking purchase forms to the buyers during the auction (Adult - Older Adult Perfered)
